Programme title and objectives:
The study programme Interdisciplinary studies of visual and media arts, module Photography and camera, prepares future artists for the career of analogue and digital media artists within a wide range of artistic challenges in the field of film, television, press etc. The objectives of the programme include acquisition of knowledge, understanding and skills for the development of creative capabilities necessary for the professions within the field of photography and cinematography, as well as consciousness of the interrelationship between dramatic, fine and audiovisual arts by using and connecting various media lines. Students develop the ability of visual coordination of the relations between all the static and dynamic elements in space and with space. In addition, students are taught to work on promotional contents of photography as well as television commercials. The main objective of the final Master thesis is that students, through the artistic research process, create their own personal work of art that will have as a result its theoretical background of the process and idea in written form. Also, students master the skills of working in real-life situations and develop the abilities for teamwork and cooperation. They are enabled to take responsibility for further work on their personal development.

MODULE MULTIMEDIA THEATRE/PERFORMING ARTS

Programme title and objectives:
The study program Interdisciplinary Studies of Visual and Performing Arts – module: Multimedia Theatre/Performing arts is designed to create and develope future artists of visual and performing arts, relying on modern technological frameworks. Students acquire knowledge, skills and competencies for individual and group artistic activities in the creation and realization of multimedia stage events, in both visual and performing segments of the process. The program also help students to gain the necessary knowledge and understanding of the different aspects of multimedia stage production, and aquire the necessary skills for understanding and creating stage events/performances in the context of contemporary multimedia tendences. Multimedia Theatre/Performing Art smodule develops student’s awareness of the existing interaction between drama, audiovisual and appliedarts, through the usage and synthesis of different media approaches. The main objective of the Master’s degree final projectis an independent realization of a multimedia artwork based on the artistic research process, and the creation of a specific stage eventing accordance with personal artistic sensibility. The result of the artistic research process is a multimedia artwork, providing a theoretically based explanation of artist’s ideas, and the creation process. This program enablestudentsto develop coping skills for handling the real-life situations, andto improve their team-work skills. Furthermore, studentsare encouraged to take responsibility for their own future work, and personal development.

CREATING IMAGE IN MEDIA & ARTS

Programme title and objectives:
Studies prepare for a professional career in numerous media, production organizations, cultural and art institutions and educational and scientific institutions.
Students in one-year master studies can acquire total ECTS 60. Academic year lasts 30 weeks, 15 in each semester. In addition to compulsory subjects, students choose 2 out of 4 elective subjects during the year (electiveness factor 16,67%).
The final Master`s paper consists of an independent audiovisual work and theoretical explanation. Master`s thesis can be prepared in the following subjects: Image in the film system, Image and public relations, Multimedia directing, or Creating audiovisual personal image.

ART OF DOCUMENTARY FORMS

Programme title and objectives:
One-year master study programme Art of Documentary forms prepares future artists for the career of a creator in the field of documentary forms – film and television. The objectives of the study programme include acquisition of knowledge, understanding and skills for the development of creative capabilities necessary for the professions within the field ofdocumentary forms on film and television.The main objective of the final Master thesis is that students, through the artistic research process (from the idea to the realization), create their own personal work of art – documentary film that will have as a result a theoretical background of the process and idea in written form. Also, students master the skills of working in real-life situations and develop the abilities for teamwork and cooperation in creating a documentary work of art for film or television. The programme also offers knowledge of film and television technology, processes and procedures in creating film and electronic image, film and television editing, film and television music and sound production and postproduction.
