The study programme of basic academic studies Acting has multiple objectives. The main objective is to develop the talent of the artist – actor and provide academic education. The study programme consists of various subjects which contribute to the development of all abilities and skills necessary for future actors. The objective of the programme is that the students learn and master the essentials of acrobatics and stage combat necessary for creative work in the theatre, on television and film. Also, the goal is that students learn the basic elements of stage action, stage conflict, imagination, faith, concentration and relationships, as elements for character creation. The students are introduced to the essential elements of classical dance and play, creative aspects of scenography and costumography in all visual media, as well as to the beginnings and development of world and Serbian theatre and dramatic literature. Moreover, the programme aims to prepare and qualify students for further education at master academic level of studies.

The study programme of basic academic studies Film and television directing and editing has multiple objectives. The primary objective is to develop the talent of artists – directors and provide academic education. The study programme consists of various subjects organized into two modules which contribute to the development of skills and abilities necessary for future film and television directors. The objective of the programme is to provide knowledge about film language, film and television technology, technological procedures in the creation of film and electronic image. The programme aims to educate students on the essential notions on the functions of film and television camera, technical and technological features of film editing, music on film and television, production and post-production of sound and using new media, multimedia and web applications in visual arts. The programme is to prepare and qualify students for further education at master academic level of studies.

PHOTOGRAPHY & CAMERA

The study programme of basic academic studies Photography and camera has multiple objectives. The primary objective is to develop the talent of multimedia image artists and provide academic education. The study programme consists of various subjects which contribute to the development of all abilities and skills necessary for future image artists, who will express themselves as either photographers (still images) or directors of photography (moving images) on the basis of their interdisciplinary knowledge and disposition. The objective of the programme is to enable the artists to apply photography techniques and electronic camera as well as its technical and creative potential with the purpose of realizing their individual creative expression. Another goal is that the students acquire knowledge of the functioning of television, creating the electronic image, signal transmission, its processing and quality, as well as to learn about different genres and value systems in modern photography production, from photography as art to journalism and commercial photography. An important objective is to master the film and television technology, technological processes in the creation of film and electronic image. Also, the programme aims to prepare and qualify students for further education at master academic level of studies.

MUSIC PRODUCTION & SOUND DESIGN

The study programme of basic academic studies Music production and sound design has multiple objectives. The primary objective is to develop the talent of sound artists and provide academic education. The study programme consists of various subjects which contribute to the development of all abilities and skills necessary for multimedia sound artists. The purpose of the programme is education in the field of acoustics, audio technique and sound reinforcement. Students learn about the history of music and speech, basic technical and acoustic features of music and speech, as well as technological development of audio technique, with electro-acoustic transducers, features of individual elements in the chain of devices for recording, transmission and reproduction of sound. The objective of the programme is to teach students to apply the knowledge of acoustics (physical and physiological) necessary for the sound reinforcement of space for various purposes. Students learn about central and sector address systems and the application of devices for artificial reverberation, the role of electro-acoustic transducers in the sound reinforcement, as well as the features of the speaker and modern techniques of sound reproduction used in recording studios and sound broadcasting. Another important goal is learning about the outdoor sound reinforcement. Also, the purpose of this programme is to prepare and qualify students for further education at master academic level of studies.

PRODUCTION IN ARTS & MEDIA

The study programme of basic academic studies Production in Arts and Media has multiple objectives. The primary objective is to develop the talent of artists – producers and provide academic education. The study programme consists of various subjects which contribute to the development of all abilities and skills necessary for future producers in arts and/or media. The objective of the programme is to introduce students to the history of arts and media, elements of a theatre project and its realization, with elements of organizing a theatre play after the premiere and legal regulations concerning theatre activities, as well as the application of knowledge acquired to the organization of theatre, film, radio and television projects in culture. An important goal of the study programme is to enable students to work in the mass media, project management in culture, cultural politics and financing culture, with key strategies and tactics in marketing and public relations applied for marketing works of art and events. Also, the purpose of this programme is to prepare and qualify students for further education at master academic level of studies.
